Bob Sliskovic , Ph.D. – President, Research and Business Development, has 29 years of research and management experience in the pharmaceutical industry with an established track record of leadership and productivity. Prior to joining AAP, Dr Sliskovic was Senior Director of both CNS and Inflammation Chemistry at Pfizer’s Ann Arbor Laboratories. During his tenure at Pfizer, he has helped 12 compounds progress to clinical trials, including Lipitor®.. He has a substantial publication record including books, book chapters, reviews, original research papers and 57 issued patents. Gary L. Bolton, Ph.D. is VP and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). Dr. Bolton is a former Research Fellow with 17 years of drug discovery experience with Pfizer in Ann Arbor, MI. As a synthetic medicinal chemist, he has demonstrated expert knowledge and skill in the development and optimization of new synthetic methodologies, combinatorial chemistry methods, and medicinal chemistry and structure-based drug design. He has 13 issued US patents. Helen T. Lee, Ph.D. is VP and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dr. Lee is a former Research Fellow with 20 years of drug discovery experience with Pfizer in Ann Arbor, MI. As the lead of many drug discovery projects, she has acquired expert knowledge and skill in rational drug design and the efficient synthesis of drug candidates in various therapeutic areas. She has an extensive publication record, and has 55 issued US patents. Facility AAPharmaSyn has its own fully equipped chemistry laboratory (3500 sq. ft) with 10 fume hoods. Standard analytical instrumentation is available and includes NMR, MS , LCMS, HPLC-Diode Array, polarimeter and Prep HPLC.
