Sodium methyl (2,3-bis(palmitoyloxy)propyl)phosphonate is a synthetic phosphonate analog of a diacylglycerol derivative, featuring a glycerol backbone esterified with two palmitic acid (C16:0) chains at the 2- and 3-positions, and a methylphosphonate group at the 1-position (via a carbon–phosphorus bond).
